What is BizTaxIntel? ▼
BizTaxIntel is a tax filing deadline tracker for small businesses. It generates a personalized checklist of every federal and state tax deadline based on your entity type (LLC, S-Corp, C-Corp, sole proprietor, partnership), your state, and whether you have employees. It includes smart reminders and two-column tracking so you know what's been filed and what's been confirmed by the IRS or state.
What entity types does BizTaxIntel support? ▼
BizTaxIntel supports five entity types: Sole Proprietor (Schedule C), Single-Member LLC with S-Corp election, Multi-Member LLC (Partnership), Multi-Member LLC with S-Corp election, and C Corporation. Each entity type has different federal filing requirements, and BizTaxIntel knows exactly which forms and deadlines apply to each.
Does BizTaxIntel cover state tax deadlines? ▼
Yes. BizTaxIntel covers all 50 states including state income tax, franchise tax, annual reports, sales tax, state unemployment tax (SUTA), and registered agent requirements. Each state has different rules — for example, Texas has no income tax but does have franchise tax, while California has both income tax and an $800 minimum LLC tax.
How much does BizTaxIntel cost? ▼
BizTaxIntel offers two plans: Starter at $9.99/month (1 entity, federal + 1 state) and Pro at $19.99/month (up to 5 entities, all 50 states, team access). Both include a 14-day free trial with no credit card required.
What does "You Filed" and "Confirmed" mean? ▼
"You Filed" is a checkbox with a date picker where you mark the date you submitted your filing. "Confirmed" is where you mark that the IRS or state agency has acknowledged receipt. This two-column system means you always know not just whether you sent it, but whether it was received.
How do email reminders work? ▼
BizTaxIntel sends email reminders at 30, 14, 7, 3, and 1 day before each deadline. You can customize which intervals you receive. Once you mark a filing as submitted, reminders for that deadline stop. If you haven't marked it filed and the deadline is approaching, we keep reminding you.
Is the tax deadline data accurate? ▼
Yes. All federal deadlines are verified against IRS Publication 509 (Tax Calendars). State deadlines are verified against each state's official comptroller or department of revenue website. We update our data annually and whenever the IRS or states announce changes.
Does BizTaxIntel file my taxes for me? ▼
No. BizTaxIntel is a deadline tracking and reminder tool — it tells you WHAT to file, WHEN to file it, and tracks whether you've filed and received confirmation. You still file your taxes yourself or through your accountant/CPA.
Can my accountant access my account? ▼
Yes, on the Pro plan. You can add up to 3 team members including your accountant or CPA. They can view your deadline status, mark filings as complete, and generate reports.
What if I have multiple businesses? ▼
The Pro plan supports up to 5 business entities. Each can be a different type in different states. BizTaxIntel generates a separate deadline checklist for each and tracks them all in one dashboard.
What deadlines do small businesses miss most often? ▼
The most commonly missed: quarterly estimated tax payments (1040-ES), S-Corp/Partnership returns due March 15 (many think it's April 15), quarterly payroll filings (Form 941), state franchise tax, and annual information returns (1099-NEC and W-2) due January 31.
Can I export my filing data? ▼
Yes. Generate professional PDF reports or export to CSV. Reports include all deadlines, filing status, dates, and confirmation status — perfect for sharing with your accountant.
